Perfect for Smoker and Barbecue meats such as steaks, ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Also a great addition to curries, chilli con carne and to sauces for an extra kick!
How to use Rub onto meat to marinate (either dry or by mixing with a little good-quality olive oil) and leave to rest for at least 5 minutes before cooking. Add to non-meat dishes as seasoning during cooking.
Inspiration The town of Espelette, famous for the pepper of the same name, is located in the Basque Country, an area found between France and Spain in the western Pyrenees. The flavour has become ubiquitous with the region, and is in fact somewhat mild. Le Fermier took inspiration from the region, and then turned up the dial on the heat!
