Easy French Cob Loaf recipe using Le Fermier!

A cob loaf is usually a small, round bread roll made with only four ingredients! Here I'm making my own version with a béchamel sauce and the Bresse blend

The ingredients are:

* 1 coab loaf
* 6 rashers streaky bacon
* 2 shallots, thinly sliced
* 4 clove garlic
* 1/2 bunch chive, chopped
* 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
* 400 ml full fat milk
* 40 g butter
* 40 g flour
* 2 tablespoon Bresse blend
* 150 g grated cheese

1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Cut the top of the loaf, about 2/3 up from the bottom.
3. Dig out the middle and form little balls with the bread you took out. Keep aside.
4. Melt the butter in a sauce pan, add the flour and whisk. Add the milk and whisk until it’s thickened. I also like to add some Bresse blend in it.
5. In a hot pan with a little olive oil cook the bacon until crispy, then add the croutons, herbs and béchamel. Sprinkle some Bresse spice and add the cheese.
6. Pour the mixture in the loaf and until the bread is nice and crispy on the outside and the mix is bubbling.
7. Rub the lid with olive oil and bake it at the same time
