Easy and delicious Persian Love Cake with the Le Fermier St Tropez blend

The most easy and delicious Persian Love Cake recipe!

The ingredients are :

* 480g almond meal
* 115g Demerara sugar
* 115g brown sugar
* 40g St Tropez blend
* 100g buckwheat flour
* 160g unsalted butter, cold and diced
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 320g plain yogurt
* 4 eggs

 

Persian Love Cake


Method:

1. Preheat your oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Place the butter, almond meal, both sugars, St Tropez sweet blend and the buckwheat flour in a food processor and mix until you have a breadcrumbs like consistency.
3. Pour about 800g in a big bowl and mix it the eggs and youghurt.
4. Line the round cake tin the rest of the mix like you would for a cheesecake.
5. Pour the mixture in the cake tin and bake for about 40-45 minutes.
6. Leave to cool in the tin.
